YOUR FIRST VISIT
Our office practices Complete Dental Care for Complete Health. During this first visit, we reserve 90 minutes of time to be with you.
We provide our patients with more than just exams and hygiene, we communicate with our patients. We look deeper into their dental and overall health beginning with extensive health information and sleep questionnaires followed by a personal consultation, diagnostic images, and a hands-on examination.
Your new patient examination includes a comprehensive evaluation of your mouth, teeth, assessment of your gums, and bite. A full set of X-rays will be taken, and a complimentary 3D CBCT cone beam scan which captures detailed images and provides in-depth information about your oral health including an evaluation of your head, neck, jaw, sinuses, airway, the temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and a pathology evaluation.
Our Complete Care philosophy works with our patients by getting to know them and being available to treat them collaboratively with all medical, health and wellness matters in mind. Medical diagnoses that are apparent and many times medical issues that our patients may not even be aware of at all play a role in complete dental care. It is not only the physical findings. We examine inclusive health and wellness to make sure our patients are taken care of collaboratively and comprehensively.
Upon completion of the exam, the doctor will review the results with you based on the findings. A customized treatment plan will be developed and presented with options for immediate concerns, recommended treatment that can be addressed over time, and any elective cosmetic services of interest. Our doctor coordinators will then schedule follow-up visits and any additional diagnostics you may need.
Your hygiene appointment is not scheduled on the same day as your initial consultation, as every hygiene visit is customized to meet your needs based on the doctor's initial evaluation. A hygiene appointment may be scheduled while completing your visit.
